ACTIVITY:
Corrie Garden is a space to grow nutritious fruits and vegetables, but access is limited. The mission is to restore the land, whilst creating an accessible garden for the local community. TThe project uses free local resources to replenish the ground, such as seaweed from the beach, fallen leaves, garden and food scraps, coffee grounds from local restaurants and dung from the local pony trekking.
OUTCOME:
The Arran Trust awarded £700 towards the formation of an accessible path to the Garden.
