ACTIVITY
Kildonan Hall continues its 100yr celebrations with improved access and installation of a fully accessible toilet. The Arran Trust were delighted to visit Kildonan Hall last week to present a cheque for £5000 to the Hall Committee. This grant was awarded to support the installation of the external toilet, for use by locals and visitors alike. Kildonan has been lacking any public facilities of this type, and with visitor numbers increasing on the island, the village are to be applauded for their vision. The toilet was the final addition to the great work the Hall Committee has carried out to improve access with ramping and paving.
OUTCOME
This has allowed for better public facilities for both visitors and residents and has greatly improved disabled access.
