Arran Junior Sailing Club

ACTIVITY: AJSC has been in operation since 1980. The purpose of the project is for the encouragement of Arrans children to be involved in outdoor education through learning water skills and enjoy Lamlash bay as an eco system. All children on Arran from P7 to S6 have the opportunity to learn new skills and education through learning to sail, improving their mental and physical well being along with water confidence.The aim for 2025 was to replace up to 5 of the Pico dinghies used by the young people. 

OUTCOME: The Arran Trust were pleased to support AJS to the tune of £4200.
