Loch Iorsa Footpath

ACTIVITY

Arran access Trust would use machines to upgrade the badly waterlogged footpath to Loch Iorsa, creating 150m of dug path and associated drainage. This project will benefit walkers  - both visitors and residents - wishing to access inland route to Loch Iorsa, avoiding the private road past Dougarie Lodge.

OUTCOME

The Arran Trust were very supportive of this AAT project which will help to minimise damage to pathsides. It has provided an all weather route to this scenic location.
