String Road Waterfall

ACTIVITY
This waterfall was historically a very popular spot with a lay-by to allow visitors and locals, who to stop and admire the scenery and take pictures etc. Unfortunately it has become overgrown and requires clearing to open up the site. Shiskine Valley Improvements are very grateful for the support of the Arran Trust which has enabled this work to be undertaken.

OUTCOME
• The landscape will be visible
• Clearing the site will enable water to run more freely
• Opening up of area, will enable viewing of this once popular site for both visitors and locals.
