Make Your Way Round Whiting Bay

ACTIVITY

The Aim was to produce an up to date leaflet for residents and visitors  including a map and guide to walks in the village of Whiting Bay and districts. Some years ago there was a popular  leaflet showing local walks, which is now out of date .

Sponsorship from local businesses had been considered, but businesses change hands and that means information becomes outdated. As such the local improvements committee were seeking funding to prolong the life of the leaflet.

OUTCOME

With Arran Trust support, a new and very popular leaflet was developed and has been circulated via the tourist office at Brodick and through VisitArran channels. This is a resource encouraging visitors to ‘make their way’ to Whiting Bay and support local businesses, shops, cafes and restaurants.
